Prolific Burglar Jailed

The male below is Shaun DAGGER and he is a prolific burglar who has been jailed.

Between November 2025 and January 2026 DAGGER burgled numerous businesses in St Annes town centre. 

DAGGER forced entry to the businesses causing significant damage before stealing high value electronics and equipment💻

During one of the burglaries DAGGER gave himself a break from ransacking the premises, making himself a sandwich and cup of coffee before fleeing with the stolen goods 🥪 ☕

Fylde Rural Task Force conducted enquiries to identify and locate DAGGER, resulting in him being charged for 5 burglaries and a breach of court bail in relation to a previous burglary investigation. 

DAGGER was implicated from CCTV footage which showed him in distinctive clothing, scoping out the businesses before returning to the scene to commit the burglaries👀

Last month, DAGGER was sentenced at Court where he received a custodial sentence of 4 years and 6 months👩🏻‍⚖️

Fylde Rural Task Force hope this result reassures our community that we take burglaries seriously and will continue to take robust action against those who target local businesses🤝
